WELCOME TO
Gymtastiks of Moose Jaw
Sport Canada deems gymnastics as a "CORE SPORT" that every child should experience. It is a foundation for all sports.
At Gymtastiks, classes are about fun, fitness, fundamentals, friendship, and family.
Gymnasts build strength, endurance, power, flexibility, agility, balance, coordination, and spatial awareness while learning basic gymnastic skills.
Our qualified staff is CPR Certified and trained through the National Coaching Certification Program. The staff's goal is to give your gymnasts positive and memorable experiences.

Want to do something different instead of the same old thing every year? Try gymnastics!
Gymtastiks offers programs including Parent & Tot, Pre-School, Recreational and Women’s Junior Olympic Program.
PARENT AND TOT PROGRAM (for 2 year old)
Little gymnasts explore all the sights, sounds and colors in our gymnast world together with an adult family member under the direction of a Coach and eventually advance to more basic fine motor skills, gross motor skills and social skills.
PRE-SCHOOL PROGRAMS (3-5 year old)
Preschool gymnastics develops age-appropriate fundamental movement patterns such as power, strength, balance, endurance, coordination, agility, spatial orientation, landings, rotations, springs, swings, locomotion, stationary positions, and flexibility. In a circuit environment, the skills and techniques are performed on multiple surfaces and at age-appropriate heights.
RECREATIONAL PROGRAM
Recreational gymnastics develops fundamental movement patterns such as power, strength, balance, endurance, coordination, agility, spatial orientation, landings, rotations, springs, swings, locomotions, stationary positions and flexibility. The skills and techniques are performed on Uneven Bars, Balance, Beam, Vault and Floor.
RHYTHMIC PROGRAM
Rhythmic gymnastics is a beautiful sport that combines gymnastics, dance, and apparatus handling. It has been an Olympic Sport since 1984 and Canada’s own Lori Fung won the Gold Medal in the first year of Olympic Competition! Rhythmic gymnasts develop fundamental gymnastics skills, including, landings, locomotions, balances, springs, and rotations all performed on a carpeted floor. They also learn apparatus manipulation (ribbons, hoops, ropes, balls, scarves, etc.) as well as flexibility, musicality/rhythm and teamwork. Recreational gymnasts will work through the skills and levels of the Sask Rhythm program.

FLOOR EXERCISE consists of various forms of rotations, balances, leaps, and poses demonstrating flexibility, strength, control and power.
COMPETITIVE PROGRAM
Following the Canada wide Canadian Provincial Program (CPP) Levels 3-10. Level 3-5 are compulsory routines. Level 6-10 are optional routines. Gymnasts are placed in levels according to their ability and age and can compete Provincially.
XCEL PROGRAM
XCEL is an alternative competitive program offering individual flexibility to coaches and gymnasts. The goal is to provide gymnasts of varying abilities and commitment levels with a rewarding competitive gymnastics experience. Gymnasts can choose to compete or not to compete in the program. This program affords gymnasts time to participate in other sports and extra-curricular activities. We recognize that often athletes want to do more than one sport.
